1550 | A luxury kingsize suite
1550, on the first floor, has so many original castle features that we decided to name it after the year the castle was completed. 1550 has beautiful exposed stone, large windows with fabulous views across Kilmartin Glen, and a high beamed ceiling. As well as an antique roll-top bath, and wood-burning stove, you can enjoy a walk-in rain shower in a castle turret.
We don’t blame you if you decide not to venture out of your room at all!
A room for castle lovers.
In room 1550, we have a small trundle bed. This bed pulls out and can be made up for a child up to the age of 14. We only have one trundle bed available at the castle, and 1550 is the only room where it can be set up. This bed can be added as an optional extra, at a cost of £55 per stay, when you make your booking.
